Animal Spotlight: Leopard Gecko

Leopard geckos are popular pets, known for their adorable smiles and fat tails, but where do they come from?


These lizards are native to Southern Asia to the Middle East, where the terrain is an arid grassland. They have claws to help them navigate the terrain. Their fat tails are another adaptation, filled with nutrients that are stored in case there is not enough food.
