The Las Vegas Natural History Museum is transforming into an island inspired by your favorite video game! Dress in your best island attire and get ready for a day of adventure.
Join us on Saturday, April 12, from 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM, for our first-ever Nature Crossing event! Explore the museum and enjoy a variety of fun activities inspired by the popular island life video game.
Here’s what we’re most excited for:
🌿 Nature Crossing Scavenger Hunt
Start your adventure by picking up a homemade passport at the entrance and embark on a scavenger hunt throughout the museum! Explore each gallery to discover hidden marine life, fossils, and more. Check off all the items on your list and return for natural history-themed prizes!
🦴 Fossil Dig
Channel your inner paleontologist and dig for fossils! Grab a brush and shovel to carefully uncover fossils and identify your unique finds. What prehistoric creatures will you discover?
🐐 Meet the Villagers – Petting Zoo
Ever wanted to befriend the villagers on your island? Now’s your chance! Interact with friendly goats, sheep, and other adorable animals at our live petting zoo, presented in collaboration with Petting Zoo 2 U.
🧵 Create Your Own Villager Patch
Visit our DIY workbench to craft your very own custom villager patch! Using felt, needle, and thread, design an original character or recreate your favorite Animal Crossing-inspired villager. No prior sewing experience needed—just bring your creativity!
